People want to be part of something new and important and they want their voices to be heard, says Joey Langenbrunner, who is Liberland's representative in the United States and with whom we had an interview after his visit to El Salvador.
Liberland is a state that offers freedom to its citizens. As stated on its website, its motto is Live and let live prioritizing people's personal and economic freedoms; this includes limiting the powers of government to ensure less interference in the freedom of individuals and the nation as a whole.
Regarding what Liberland has to offer people around the world, Langenbrunner commented:
I think that something important, for people who seek to obtain nationality, is to understand the values of the country. There are many people who are looking for freedom, transparency, freedom of expression, you know? And in many countries people have problems with that. So when you have these values that are encouraging, you manage to attract a lot of people.

As a result of the declaration of Bitcoin as legal tender in El Salvador, representatives of Liberland have visited the country to learn about this experience.
Although Bitcoin is accepted in Liberland, the official currency of this country is the Liberland Merit cryptocurrency LMM, which was issued by the government of that country as a token of the Bitcoin Cash network.
However, this token would be more useful as an asset for the governance of the country, while based on the experience of El Salvador, Liberland could open more towards bitcoin BTC as a currency for local commerce.
