The FCA has finalized stricter rules to help tackle misleading advertisements that encourage investment in high risk products.
The regulator's attempt to reduce the number of people who invest in high-risk products is due to concerns that a significant number of people do not understand the risks embedded in some type of investment.
The UK's Financial Conduct Authority - FCA requires companies that market high-risk investments to provide clearer and more prominent risk warnings. Some investment incentives, such as refer a friend bonuses, will be completely prohibited.
