The Web3 native band's album features 1,111 songs in over 5 genres, making it the largest digital album in history, even surpassing the current Guinness World Record by 111.
Every instrumental loop on The Perris' first album was recorded by real humans, then randomly ordered and structured using the latest technology in the music industry, called AlgoRythm.
The full album is released with no copyright restrictions to allow the community to engage as much as possible, with all musical pieces available for collaborations, remixes, or as the base for freestyle.
The band was a part of the Metaverse Music Festival, alongside international acts such as Björk and Ozzy Osbourne.
For their debut album, The Perris composed, recorded, sampled, and manually selected all of the sounds they used, from drums to guitars, synthesizers, and bass. The visual side of the album was created by Argentine designer and illustrator KiDDO, who also created the artwork.
The entire team curated the album to give it the timeless, iconic look that The Perris deserves. The Perris Band sees NFTs as a new way to change the relationship between the artist and their audience, and are releasing their album as a digital collectible to connect with and interact with their fans, making them a truly integral part of the process.
