Shiba Inu a popular meme cryptocurrency, recently announced a new partnership with The International Women of Blockchain and NOWPayments in an effort to bring more diversity to the crypto ecosystem.
The announcement was made in a press release on March 31st, with the goal of getting more women involved in the world of cryptocurrency, blockchain, and Web 3.0. Shiba Inu hopes that this initiative will reach women from all over the world and from various backgrounds, ranging from programmers to CEOs.
To further support this cause, Shytoshi Kusama, the developer of Shiba Inu, has created a development fund to help the community. He donated $25,000 of his own funds, and the current amount raised has exceeded $50,000. "We will never achieve total adoption until blockchain is accessible and used by all genders and nationalities," Shytoshi stated to Reuters.
Although Shiba Inu is a well-known meme cryptocurrency, the coin is seeking to distance itself from this label and demonstrate that it has real value beyond the hype of dog tokens that have proliferated due to the popularity of its rival, Dogecoin (DOGE).
Furthermore Shiba Inu is reportedly developing its own hot wallet, which should be compatible with the ShibaSwap DEX. There is no official launch date for the wallet yet, but it could potentially help users manage their Shiba Inu coins with ease.
The new partnership and development fund from Shiba Inu represent a significant step towards creating a more diverse and inclusive crypto community. With the support of organizations like The International Women of Blockchain and NOWPayments, Shiba Inu hopes to inspire more women to get involved in the exciting world of blockchain and cryptocurrency.
