Users will now be able to have their own Bitcoin and Lightning node, without requiring any advanced configuration, just by connecting and using a new device. This is possible by integrating the Umbrel operating system, which allows node management from a friendly graphical interface.

Details of this plug-and-play node model (connect and use) that integrates Umbrel SO were given on Umbrel's official Twitter, along with its purchase price, in which you can get two variants: 1TB with a cost of USD 429 and 2TB of USD559. The manufacture and sale of this device is the responsibility of the manufacturing company The Bitcoin Machine.

In the company's web portal, 3 node models can be obtained: the cheapest one that consists of only the hardware necessary for the node, the preconfigured one without operating system, and the most recently, which has the Umbrel OS pre-installed.

To use it, the device must only be connected to the internet (via Ethernet LAN cable) and to the power supply. With this, the device is already active. It will only be enough to download the Bitcoin or Lightning blockchain for it to start working.
